My history & background

One of the things that I'm so extremely passionate about teaching to other stylists is the "how to" charge for a salon consultation.

I have been and still am a stylist, and entered the industry in 1992. I was very fortunate to have been a Redken educator for almost 10 years, and was mentored by some of the best in the industry.

The ultmate biggest takeaway was the business teachings that Redken has engrained into us, and of course how to become an expert colorist.


Charge for a consultation?

Absolutely! And I started charging for a consultation over 20 years ago.
